With views up and down Darling Street since 1870, The London is one of Sydney’s longest operating pubs. There are few seats more coveted in Balmain than a perch on The London’s iconic front verandah, especially as the sun sets and you can share the good times with friends and family.
Upstairs is popular for functions and business meetings thanks to traditional English channelling design. Meanwhile, the dining room is a drawcard for local couples and large groups with its menu of pub classics featuring a few nods to Old Blighty including beer-battered fish and chips.
A new streetside shaded beer garden is the place to be on weekends and dogs, as always, are very, very welcome.
